PETER FORTUNE
Called: 1978 (Inner Temple)
Formerly a Deputy Chief Clerk in the Inner London Magistrates Courts Service, a Senior Crown Prosecutor, and a contributor to Blackstone's Criminal Practice in the Road Traffic, Evidence, and Offences Against the Person chapters.
Criminal experience includes defence and prosecution trials for murder, manslaughter, kidnapping, rape, dangerous and death by dangerous driving, fraud and offences of dishonesty.
A speciality area is Judicial Reviews and actions against the police and other bodies involving false imprisonment, assault and malicious prosecution, personal Injury, Employment Law cases are taken on including under Damages Based Agreements (DBAs).
Further areas of practice include Contract and Tort and all aspects of Family Law.
Latterly Peter has developed a considerable and busy practice representing clients in Public Law Care cases.
